Arizer Go Vaporizer Review – Drop stress cargo with the ArGo

Awesome performance from a tiny little package.

The Canadian manufacturer Arizer is well-known in the vaporization industry, the Arizer Go dry herb vape, also known as The ArGo, being their 5th and latest release. It’s size and shape make it a very portable, compact, discreet and easy to handle tool for every time you need to take your stress level down or boost your mood up.

It is a very easy to use vape. You can load it using the mouthpiece, which is made of glass. One advantage of having a glass mouthpiece is the fact that it keeps the vapor pure and cool, giving it an excellent quality and flavor. It only takes about one minute to heat up.

Because it was built with a convection/conduction heating system, it gets a little warm to the touch, which can be inconvenient for some users, but there is nothing at all to be worried about. This fact can be a plus during the winter.

The ArGo comes with some pretty cool features:

Two borosilicate glass mouthpieces, which is a very rare piece among dry-herb vapes. They only need to be cleaned every few sessions, which can be done very easily using just a q-tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol, while the mouthpiece is still warm.

Doing so, the draw resistance will remain low, so you can enjoy the full vapor. This makes the vape a very low maintenance tool. The glass mouthpieces make the herb-loading very easy, because you can preload them with herb and store them, using the two included step caps to seal them off at the filling end.

A 18650 removable battery, which takes three and a half hours to charge and lasts about 90 minutes, and you can remove it and replace it with another one, if you don’t want to wait that long for it to charge.

A great pop-top design. Its top encloses and protects the mouthpiece from getting dirty or broken, which is popped up by a small button on the back of the vape. When you’re ready to start your session, you just push the top down again.

OLED screen, that displays the battery level and the temperature, next to 3 small buttons that you use to control the temperature and get an audio feedback.

Convection/conduction heating system, meaning that your herb will not come in direct contact with the heat, the herb being inside the glass tube and inside the stainless steel heating chamber, giving the vapor an astounding quality. Although you should keep in mind that at temps higher than 400°F, the resulting vapor gets a little harsh and uncomfortable.

Auto shut-off feature, which is customizable between 5 and 15 minutes.

Vapor quality

The ArGo is a small vape with big clouds, wonderful flavor and great performance. Flavor is the most important thing for most users, and this one doesn’t disappoint. The vapor isn’t polluted by plastics or inferior materials thanks to the stainless steel and ceramic oven.

The glass stem also maintains a consistent temperature for your dry herb and allows it to cool down rapidly between hits. Although the vapor tends to get a little harsh at over 200°C/392°F, the flavor remains and the after-effect is a little stronger, intensifying the experience. For most consumers, we recommend keeping the temperature at around 180°C/356°F, diving a bit lower if necessary, for lighter draws.

Experience

We recommend you to start at 180°C (355°F) and increase the temperature by 10°C (50°F) every 3-4 hits. On the first few drags, the bud’s flavor is unrivaled, and the vapor is a pleasant cold temperature. While you won’t be blowing clouds just yet, the flavor is the main highlight.

On the exhale, the next four to ten puffs release dense, thick clouds with a nice throat punch. At higher temperatures, the ArGo’s hybrid heating method ensures that your herb never overcooks. The ArGo easily takes the top rank in terms of flavor out of all the portable vaporizers we’ve tried.

You can fit about 0.2g of herb inside its heating chamber, which takes about one minute or less to heat up, depending on the desired temperature.

Arizer Go Vaporizer (ArGo)

The Arizer vapes are known for their temperature adaptability, and the ArGo is no exception. The ArGo offers a temperature range of 50 to 200 degrees Celsius, or 122-428 degrees Fahrenheit. A very cool thing about the ArGo is the fact that it remembers the last temperature used, and it can increase in temperature by both 1-degree and 10-degrees, to help speed things up, heating up ranging from 50°C (122°F) within less than a minute, to 220°C (428°F) within a minute.

How to use

To begin using the ArGo vape, slide out the glass stem and press on the mouthpiece guard. Fill the dish at the end of the tube with dry herbs and slide it back into the chamber. The unit is turned on by pressing and holding the M and + buttons at the same time.

The digital display screen will switch on, and a countdown will begin to inform you that it is about to start up. A smiley will appear after it’s finished. When it’s ready, press the plus and minus buttons to select the temperature you want to vape at. The device does not vibrate when it is ready, but it does beep when it’s done, then you can draw via the glass mouthpiece.

The Argo heats up in about 30 seconds, but we recommend giving it an extra 10 to 15 seconds to increase vapor production. You can customize the brightness of the digital display, as well as the volume of the alarm.

Overall, the Arizer Go is a good vaporizer, portable, and powerful. You can buy the ArGo from our friends at TVape store (France), which supplied our review sample.
